The Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation and the Department of Sociology at the University of Chicago invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar specializing in urban ethnography. They are particularly interested in individuals committed to building a deep scientific understanding of cities and processes of urbanization around the world, and researchers developing innovative methods and practices in urban contexts. They are looking for candidates with evidence of active and innovative scholarship as manifest in an ambitious research agenda and/or methodological innovation.
